How to Invite All Your Teens to School in Sims 4

I just want to see my bestie!

EA Games has released a high school pack that’s dedicated to creating memories with your teen Sim. Finally, we had the possibility of joining our Sim to attend high school and making friends with people our own age. It was hard making friends since finding teens roaming around was incredibly difficult. Now that we have the opportunity to take Sims to school, plenty of Simmers are noticing a problem. It’s empty! The school doesn’t invite all of the teens or the teens you have created to go to school with you. In this guide, we will teach you how to invite all of your teens to school in Sims 4.

How to Invite teen Sims to school

We don’t ask for much. We just want the ability to invite the teens we have spent hours customizing and have them interact with our favorites. Simmers were hoping for the opportunity to finally include all of their custom Sims or favorite NPC to join them at school. The school itself has some problems in terms of teenagers getting in trouble for using the restroom, Sims not being able to do much of anything in class, and activities are repetitive. To help fix at least the major issue with the game; unfortunately, there’s no solution you can use without adding a mod. We’re going to show you how to add classmates to your school.

Choose a High School Classmates Mod

This mod was created by Rex & The Sims. It’s a very straightforward mod that helps you add teens to your high school. We’re tired of getting random NPCs join us instead of students who we wanted to be part of the high school experience. In order to make this mod work, continue reading below to learn how to add mods, once you’re an expert and the mod is installed on your computer, click on the mailbox as a teen. This will open up a menu titled “Choose High School Classmate” where you can pick and choose classmates you want to join with you to high school.

That’s it! Hopefully, EA Games finds a way to patch this so we can just add whoever we want in the future, until then, we’re going to have to rely on Mods to fix the issues the pack has.

How to Add Mods to Sims 4

Adding mods is easy and once you get the hang of it you’ll be installing mods and custom content like crazy! Sadly, mods are only available to PC and MAC players. Adding mods is slightly the same for each but if you’re a PC player here’s how you add mods:

  • Unzip the file after downloading. Place in “My Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4>Mods
  • Enable custom content in game to make it appear in your game
  • Script mods need to be placed in mods and not under a subfolder.

How to add mods as a MAC player:

  • In finder look for your zip file. Unzip to receive a .package file or .script file.
  • Unzip the file after downloading. Place in “My Documents>Electronic Arts>The Sims 4>Mods
  • Enable custom content in game to make it appear in your game
  • Script mods need to be placed in mods and not under a subfolder.
