How to Increase Mastery Points in Coral Island

In Coral Island, players will be busy tending to a number of important tasks, be it for the sake of clearing mission specific objectives, or for their own peace of mind. By doing everything and anything within the game, no matter what activity it may be, points will begin accumulating for the player to spend. These points are termed as Mastery Points, and in Coral Island, these are tied to certain activities and roles you take up in the games.

These are namely Farming, Ranching (eg. raising livestock), Foraging (eg. gathering food or resources), Mining, Diving, Catching (meaning Bugs specifically), Fishing and Combat. Performing any and all actions involving these will increase the points obtained when doing actions related to each category.

How to Use Mastery Points in Coral Island

Simply put, every time you perform a certain action, your mastery levels will increase. Increasing mastery levels rewards points to unlock a new skill within each of the categories specified. For example, by spending any amount of time Farming, you will end up being able to unlock one of three available traits that can be obtained early in the game with one point each.

These are:

  • Stay Hydrated I – Chance for watered soil to stay watered the following day (10% chance)
  • Double Crop – Chance to harvest double crops (5% chance)
  • Crop Express I – Chance for crops to grow faster (10% chance to grow faster)
