How Can You Get Hire a Farmhand Mod in Sims 4?
As you saw from our subheading, Hire a Farmhand is a mod for Sims 4 that needs to be added to the game in order for you to get those farm assistants. However, installing and setting up the mod is a piece of cake and can be done in a couple of minutes!
The first thing you need to do is go to the official Patreon page of the mod creator siriussimmer and download the mod. When you have done this, navigate to your Sims 4 installation folder and open a subfolder named Mods. Copy and paste the contents of the downloaded mod into the Mod folder and start the game.
Now you are going to need to Menu> Game Options> Other and put checkmarks next to “Enable Custom Content and Mods” and “Script Mods Allowed“. If the mods don’t show up or work try restarting the game. When you have the mod installed all you need to do is click on Home, and you’ll see Hire Farmhand Service.
Note: This mod will only work if you have the Cottage Living Expansion Pack.
How Do Farmhands Work?
Keep in mind that Farmhand service is a service and you’ll need to pay for it. Farmhands work from 9 AM to 6 PM and they’ll cost you 100 simoleons + 10 simoleons per hour they are working. You can choose between One Time Farmhand and Scheduled Farmhand depending on if you need a one-time help or a continual service.
Farmhands can clean animal sheds, clean your cows and llamas (for this the animals need to be outside), clean the chicken poop, feed the chickens, refill animal food, and tend to all the crops.
