How to get to Senpou Temple
In quick general directions, you can access the Senpou Temple by going through the Abandoned Dungeon after swimming past the Underground Waterway Idol. However, there can be a lot more to that and easier said than done.
The normal roads to the Temple are all closed down. Near Ashina Castle’s main Sculptor Idol, there is an Old Hag who will tell you of a bridge. That bridge will lead you to the Abandoned dungeon. This is when you head across the bride of the Ashina Reservoir towards the Abandoned Dungeon. You’ll swim your way through and find a lift on the other side that takes you to the temple grounds.
Once at the top of the lift house, there is a Scultpor’s Idol you can activate and then leave the house to find the temple just ahead of you. You’ll take a right up the mountain and find a man, Kotaro, crying against a tree who was abandoned by his friends. You can help him of course and once completing that continue on your way or come back for him later.
Continue up the cobblestone steps that lead up to the temple. Be careful of the several corrupted monks who will fight you along the way. Eventually, you’ll work your way directly to the front of the temple and start exploring further on the grounds and inside the temple as well.
