Slime Rancher 2 has some super diverse landscapes to get lost in. Towering heights, gorgeous plateaus, colourful landscapes, and adorable slimes. The Ember Valley is one of the other islands you get to explore, full of lava, slimes, resources, and rocks. But it isn’t the most accessible island, you’ll have to clear the way first. Here is how to reach the Ember Valley in Slime Rancher 2.

Facing the Gordo
If you want to go to the Ember Valley, you first need to face off against the Pink Gordo in the Rainbow Fields. The Pink Gordo is tucked away in a little cranny up north:
Make your way up there and bring a lot of food to pop the slime. There is plenty around so if you didn’t carry enough, just do some scavenging around. Thankfully, the Pink Gordo will eat anything edible. Aside from Chikadoos. There is a line.
Keep pumping the Pink Gordo until it bursts, and it will reveal a wonderful water jet. Stand on the stone tiles and wait for the water to burst, sending you upwards. To the left will be a platform that you can now reach, so make sure to land there. This bridge is inaccessible without the water spout.

Activating the teleporter
Now on the bridge, walk your way towards a switch (like the switches in the Ancient Temple in the original game). Press ‘E’ to activate it, and watch in the distance as a huge pillar descends. Admire the gorgeous display of power as the pillar disappears and unleashes a huge torrent of energy into the sky. The switch will then get swallowed by the ground.
From there, leap off the bridge and walk forwards until you stumble across the clearing of the former pillar. In its place now, is a beaming, gleaming teleporter.
You don’t need to do anything further. Step onto the teleporter and let yourself be transported to the dangerous Ember Valley.
