How to Get the Quarterstaff in Chivalry 2

The return of greatness.

Since its release, Chivalry 2 has been one of the most original first-person games, offering players some of the most immersive medieval combat to date. And its developer Torn Banner Studios hasn’t ceased to add new content to the game with various season updates and new events.

But if there’s one thing that played the original Chivalry game have wanted since this one’s beginning, it’s the inclusion of the Quarterstaff weapon. though this title has had it all, that’s been one of the bigger things absent. At least until the newly released Winter War update!

The Quarterstaff is now up for grabs, and players can take it to the battlefield once more. But if you’re trying to figure out how to get the Quarterstaff in Chivalry 2, then we can help explain it!

How to Get the Quarterstaff in Chivalry 2

To give a little backstory for those who don’t know much about the Quarterstaff; it’s a two-handed heavy primary weapon that will help the players who like versatility in their build. It helps in overwhelming enemies at close range thanks to its quickness, but can still strike them even at a distance due to its length. It’s also got some good use cases in defense as well. Now that you know what it is, let’s talk about how to get it.

For those that want to get their hands on this weapon, it actually isn’t all too difficult to do. The Quarterstaff is a weapon that can be used by the Crusader, a sub-class of the Knight class. Just head to your Armoury, then select Customize.

From there, select your Knight and toggle over to the Weapons tab. You’ll find the Quarterstaff at the very bottom of the Two-Handed category. You’ll see that the uncommon version, “Combat Grip” will be unlocked at level 16 and will be the default equipped choice.

There are two additional variants; “The Priest” which is unlockable at Rank 22 with a Rare rarity for 7,000 Gold/220 Crowns and the “Fruit of Bridgetown” which is unlockable at Rank 77 with a Legendary rarity for 55,500 Gold/ 450 Crowns.

To equip it to your class in-game, simply choose the Crusader subclass during a match and toggle the Quarterstaff as your Primary weapon. That’s all there is to it! So, now you know how to get the Quarterstaff in Chivalry 2!
