To get the Cryosthesia 77K in Destiny 2, you have two options: purchasing the battle pass or leveling up the season pass. Players who opt for the former, you’ll need to purchase the new Season Pass, which costs 1,000 Silver, or about ten bucks (varies by region). The Crysthesia 77K automatically unlocks immediately as a seasonal premium reward.

Guardians who would rather not break out their wallet can instead level up the Season of the Splicer season pass to Tier 35, as the Cryosthesia 77K is a free reward at that tier. So, depending on which option you take, you’ll get the new weapon as long as you play the game enough and enjoy the latest update.

Cryosthesia 77K Weapon Perks

  • Polygonal Rifling (Barrel): Increases stability for better recoil reduction
  • Particle Repeater (Battery): Increases stability for better recoil for every bolt
  • Liquid Cooling (Trait): Final blows with this weapon enable a Charged Shot for a short duration. Targets hit by this shot are instantly frozen at the cost of the weapon’s entire magazine
  • Polymer Grip (Grip): A lighter grip that increases handling speed
  • Empty Catalyst Socket

Cryosthesia 77K Intrinsic Perk

  • LN2 Burst: Variable Trigger – press and release to fire individual shots. Hold to fire a Charged Shot when Liquid Cooling is active.

The burst happens after you get a kill and stays active for about ten seconds, using up the entire magazine. It’s pretty helpful in killing powerful single target enemies like bosses. Overall, it has a slow reload time and a fairly small magazine size.
