It is quite fulfilling when a game rewards your struggle by offering you certain rare items, boosts or collectables that are not accessible to the casual gamer, only for those that are willing to run the extra mile. Now, taking that into account, some of us really just want some cash instead. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love the new pair of socks, mom. Believe me, I do, but you could just have given me the money, so I could pick myself something else. Something like…well, I really need some new socks. But you get the point! Anyway, sorry, my inner Grinch usually takes over when we are this close to Christmas. And if you think this has nothing to do with the article’s title, you’ve got another thing coming. Here is how to get the Aspects’ Token of Merit in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.
How to Get the Aspects’ Token of Merit
Now let’s get rid of my cringe comedy for a while. Getting the Aspects’ Token of Merit may be somewhat confusing at first, but all you have to know is that you will in fact need to do some work before you are able to get it. You see, there is nothing you can do to acquire directly. And while that may sound like an out of season April’s Fools joke (wink, wink), it is the truth. The Aspects’ Token of Merit is not a reward, but an alternative option to one. You see, in Dragonflight you will find The Great Vault, located in Valdrakken, which essentially exists to give the player several great rewards in thanks for the player’s actions in-game. You can either battle raid bosses, complete Mythic+ dungeons, or even earn Honor Points from Rated PvP.
Depending on the amount of bosses you defeat, the amount of dungeons you beat or the amount of Honor Points you collect from Rated PvP, you will be able to add either 1, 2 or 3 pieces of loot to your Great Vault. You will be able to do this weekly. The thing is, what happens if the loot you are presented with isn’t of your liking? Well, good sir, that is where the Aspects’ Token of Merit enters the equation. The Token will be an alternate reward presented as an option to replace the loot you gained randomly. These Tokens will be used to purchase items from Evantkis, who is standing right next to the Great Vault. You can only have 12 Aspects’ Token of Merit at a time.

So, to sum up, in order to get the Aspects’ Token of Merit, you are going to fulfill one of the Great Vault’s requirements for accessing pieces of loot, refuse the loot offered, and choose the Token instead as a reward. Seems like a pretty decent step by step activity. Anyway, be sure to complete those challenges and claim your Tokens. Good luck on the hunt!
