Sharkman Karate is one of the most useful fighting styles in Blox Fruits, as it’s packed full of powerful, easy-to-land attacks that don’t come with all of the baggage of a Fruit ability. It’s a direct upgrade over Water Kung Fu, and can be used regardless of your character’s race or affinity.

In order to learn the secrets of Sharkman Karate yourself, you’re going to need to gather some cash and a special item, as well as make sure your Water Kung Fu skills are up to snuff. These are the requirements you’ll need to meet:

  • 400 Mastery in Water Kung Fu
  • 2.5 Million Money
  • 5,000 Fragments
  • The Water Key

The Water Key is the trickiest part of learning Sharkman Karate. It’s a special item that has a 2-10% chance to drop after defeating the Tide Keeper, a boss located on the far side of Forgotten Island. Keep in mind that the Water Key is a temporary item; as soon as you get it, you’ll want to get to unlocking Sharkman Karate because if you die or log out, it’ll disappear.

Once you meet the requirements, have the cash, and have the Water Key, go visit Daigrock, the Sharkman, an NPC standing in front of a small house on Forgotten Island. You can also find him inside the blue-roofed house on the Castle on the Sea. Either way, chat him up and fork over the key. If you meet all of the requirements, he’ll see you the Sharkman Karate style for the specified price.

For the authentic Sharkman Karate experience, wear a pair of gloves with webbing between the fingers while you play. It won’t make you any stronger, it just looks cool.
