In Clash of Clans, players create and defend villages from other pillagers. Gathering units from the Hog Rider to the enigmatic P.E.K.K.A., no base is the same. Especially with the inclusion of scenery. Scenery allows players to now customize looks of the surroundings of bases. From the more mild seasonal changes to the more abstract pixelized background, scenery can change the entire look of your base. So how do players acquire new scenery of their own? Fortunately there are two methods that players can get scenery from. Players can get some scenery through gameplay, and others by paying for it. This article will list both so you know what to get.
Classic Scenery
One thing to note about the Classic scenery every player gets. As the seasons change, so will the Classic scenery. Every Autumn and Winter, the surrounding trees will represent the according seasons. In autumn the leaves will turn orange, and in the winter the trees will be covered in snow. These sceneries are free, but will only apply in the correct time of year.
Earned Scenery
The following sceneries can be earned in game without having to spend in game money. For the most part they are earned by leveling up your Town Hall, though others are earned though in game events.
- Jungle Scenery – Level Town Hall to 14
- Magic Scenery – Level Town Hall to 15
- Pixel Scenery – Earn 15 stars in the 10 Years of Clash challenges
Paid Scenery
The next sceneries can only be acquired through spending money through the game store. These are more unique and expressive sceneries, though it is up to the player to decide if they are worth spending money for.
