How to Get Revenge Kills in Modern Warfare Multiplayer

Revenge Kills are only obtainable through the Multiplayer Mode of Modern Warfare 2 as players will not be able to get these kills via DMZ or Battle Royale. The reason for this is that Revenge Kills rely on you killing the specific opponent who previously killed you. It is the act of taking revenge directly on the opposition who previously took your life. To avenge yourself in a match. The problem with Revenge Kills is that you need to find the specific player who killed you in your previous life and then kill them in return to count towards the kill counter.

Best Game Mode to Enter for this Challenge

Players should head into the Game Mode Hardpoint for the best opportunity to nab Revenge Kills. The reason for this is that you will likely find the enemy that killed you in your previous life easily due to playing the objective. Make sure to notice what skin and weapon they are rocking to make your life a lot easier in your search for that player. When heading into Quick Play, you can select to only enter Hardpoint matches to hit this specific Path of the Ronin Challenge.

When you are in the game, you will need to get yourself killed by multiple players on the opposite team. This will allow you to have the opportunity to get multiple Revenge Kills at once by killing the enemies who previously killed you. Rack up those deaths and avenge yourself by hunting down those enemies that you know killed you previously.

Best Loadout to Use for Revenge Kills

We highly recommend using something fast for this Challenge, therefore your best option would be the KV Broadside or the MP5 (Lachmann Sub). Tune these to have high mobility, such as no stock on the Broadside or the VLK LZR 7MW laser for accuracy and hip fire. For an in-depth Weapons guide, see our related: Best Meta Weapons and Classes to Use in Warzone 2.0.

A highly mobile loadout will help you tremendously in repositioning and getting across the map fast. You will be able to return to the scene of the crime where your murder was committed and avenge yourself as your opponent will likely be positioned in the same spot. Using something powerful and overwhelming is best here as you will be able to get that crucial Revenge Kill. You do not need to worry about surviving or getting Kill Streaks here as the goal is to get killed and then kill the one that took you out. Therefore, you should aim to take out those who previously took you down and then get killed by a new set of enemies to repeat the process for the Loyalty Challenge.

That is our guide on how to get 50 Revenge Kills for the Loyalty Challenge in Path of the Ronin Event. Remember that you have a limited time in completing this Event as it will come to an end on March 25th, 2023.
