Disney Dreamlight Valley is home to many vibrant characters that you will meet and become friends with. As you grow your village, you’ll be able to make friends with more characters, find more rewards, and get more help with your tasks, not to mention have even more avenues to find Dreamlight. If you need a bold character for your village, then look no further than Moana. Here is how to move Moana into your village in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Find and Help Moana
Moana can only be found in her realm. To travel to other realms, you must have unlocked the Castle, as that is the hub for traveling to other lands to meet new characters. If you haven’t already, then gather 2,000 Dreamlight and advance in merlin’s quests to remove the Night Thorns blocking the path.
Tell Merlin you want to go somewhere watery, or if you have already unlocked the Castle, then select the middle doorway for 3,000 Dreamlight. You will now have access to Moana’s realm.
Once you have entered, you will find yourself on a small island with Moana ahead. Talk to her.
You will have to help get the ship sailing again. To do this, accept the quest from Moana. You will have to find the 8 pieces of wood scattered around the island and dig up three fibers. Simply walk around the island to do so and collect the items. They are not hidden, and the island is small, just pay attention to the very edges of the island.
Return to Moana with the items.
The next step is freeing the ship from the coral. Your pickaxe won’t do so you must get Maui to upgrade it. Talk to Maui. He will need you to pass a test, so talk to Moana for the answers and then go back to him and answer his questions.
He will upgrade your pickaxe. Go to the ship and destroy the coral. Talk to Moana and set sail.
Upon the waves, she will hand you a map that you must use in your inventory to decipher. You will have access to numerous spots. Your aim here is to find a light to get past the mist to access good fishing spots.
Keep sailing to the different locations by asking Moana until you arrive at one with a torch right next to the ship. You cannot explore these areas, so if there is no torch to immediately pick up, look elsewhere. WIth the torch, return it to Moana and then sail through the mist.
You will have to catch the fish next to the ship to prove that this is a good fishing spot.

How to Move Moana into the village
With Moana’s quest finished, talk to her about moving in. You must then go back to the village. Press ‘F’ to access the furniture menu. You can then select Moana’s building at the top of the menu and place it anywhere that isn’t obstructed. Once you are happy, you can place it down. You will have to pay Scrooge McDuck 2,000 coins.
As soon as it is built, Moana will arrive through the well into your village.
