How to Get Knight Armor in Hogwarts Legacy

Sir Spider Slayer.

Hogwarts is littered with animated suits of armor, serving both as decoration and defense should the situation call for it. Nobody’s ever had much reason to wear this armor themselves, as armored gloves probably aren’t very good for wand-waving. If the interest strikes you in Hogwarts Legacy, though, there’s a way to get one of your own. Here’s how to get Knight Armor in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Get Knight Armor in Hogwarts Legacy

In Hogwarts Legacy, you can receive a set of wearable Knight Armor by a complete a particular set of Combat Challenges. Once you have this armor, you can apply it to your appearance on the Gear tab of your menu. They’re only cosmetic, unfortunately, so they won’t affect your stats, but that does mean you can always wear it while still changing your stats with your actual gear.

The Knight Armor has an actual name: the Spider Slayer Armor. As the name no doubt implies, it’s an armor bestowed upon those with a particular aptitude for smashing, squishing, blasting, and otherwise un-aliving various arachnids. All you need to do is kill lots and lots of spiders, and the armor is yours.

The armor is broken up into two parts. The body section covers your torso and limbs and is given as a reward for defeating 10 spiders. The helmet, meanwhile, is given as a reward for defeating 20 spiders.

So where do you find spiders to smash? That depends on how badly you want this armor. If you don’t mind waiting a while, just progress through the main campaign until you get to the quest “Jackdaws Rest.” There are lots of spiders to fight during this quest, more than enough to unlock the full armor set.

If you’re in a rush, you can try checking the Forbidden Forest north of Hogwarts proper. Be advised, though, that the enemies in this area can be as high as level 20, so you won’t be able to take them on if you’ve only just started the game.

Either way, once you’ve squished a sufficient number of spiders, just visit the Combat section of the Challenges tab on your menu to redeem the Spider Slayer armor pieces, then equip them in the Gear tab. Don’t worry, it’s more flexible than it looks.
