Forager, the survival world exploration title has a pretty extensive list of things to find in its crazy world. With many things to craft, players are often left to their own devices when finding the materials or resources required to make the necessary items needed to create a fun experience. One such crafting material is the Great Skulls which players can find through many different means. Today, we’ll explain all of the different ways you can get Great Skulls in Forager.
How To Get Forager Great Skulls
There are a few ways that players can gain Great Skulls in Forager, either through combat, purchasing them, or even crafting them later on down the line. With so many ways to get them, it can be confusing which method is best for you. We’ll explain how each one works so that you can decide which method to choose.
Purchase Them
The first and easiest way to get Great Skulls is to simply purchase them outright from markets. This is going to be the best method for players that are still in the early stages of their game. Markets can be unlocked via the economy section of your skill tree and they can be crafted with wood, bricks, and leather. The markets sell things at random and only have three items available at a given time. Luckily, they refresh every 10 minutes so you have a pretty good chance of one showing up. The more markets you build, the better your chances of getting Great Skulls faster.
Farm Them
Alternatively, you could try your hand at combat to farm Great Skulls. To do this, all you need to do is find and fight Giant Skeleton Warriors through the game’s islands, in the Graveyard biome, or by spawning them yourself. In order to spawn them yourself, you’ll need the Necro Rod which you can obtain by completing the puzzle within the Skull Maze in the graveyard biome. It can take time to spawn a Giant Skeleton Warrior as spawning is randomized but can be worth it in the long run.
Craft Them
Your third option is to simply craft them using the Spirituality skill from the skill tree. Located in the magic category of the skills, this particular skill allows you to craft Great Skulls from regular bones. Though gaining this skill takes a lot of in-game progressions and you’ll need Flower Presses unlocked as well to make crystals. You’ll need these crystals to make the Spirit Forge which is used in crafting the Great Skulls. The Spirit Forges require 50 crystals and 25 steel to craft them.
