What is Epic Equipment

There are several levels of equipment in Survivor.io that you will spend a lot of time leveling up to get better, stronger, and more powerful gear as you play. There’s basic, good, and better equipment which will be your first exposure as you just start out playing. The next level which you will spend a lot of time focusing on is Excellent equipment and S-level equipment.

Excellent equipment is represented by the color purple and while there is a higher level in gear, then yellow is the color of Epic and the color red for Legendary. Epic is going to take you long enough to get when you start out as it is. Keep in mind though how you gain Epic equipment will be the same way you gain Legendary equipment down the road, just with more steps.

S-Level equipment represents the level of power. You can have regular Excellent and Epic equipment or eventually gain an S-Level version that is just more powerful and enhanced. There is also S-Level Legendary equipment.

How to Get Epic Gear

There’s only one real way to get Epic gear but several methods to go about obtaining it. Merging is the name of the game. Once you get 3 of the same exact type of gear, you can merge it to the next level. For example: if you have 3 Good level katana you can merge them into 1 Better level Katana.

Once you’ve reached Excellent level equipment, you still need to merge 3 pieces of the same type of gear together, but you no longer have to be that specific. You can merge any 3 weapons or any 3 boots or necklaces or gloves in Excellent. Once you’ve merged enough Excellent gear together, it reaches Level-S, and once you merge Level-S gear together, it becomes the next level.

So after merging 3 level-S gear together of the same type, you get your first long-awaited, hard-fought Epic Gear. Then you have to do it all again to go even higher!

It’s going to take you a long time to do this if you’re not purchasing equipment bundles. You can gain plenty of emeralds fast enough through challenges and daily missions and completing story mode levels. That all builds up to where you can buy chests in-game without using real money. The higher level chest the more excellent gear you can get to merge and reach Epic faster.

There is no direct way to buy or obtain Epic gear or Legendary for that matter. All you can do is obtain more and more lower-level equipment to merge until you reach that next golden level. Good luck and don’t give up, luckily there is a lot to do in such a simple free-to-play game as Survivor.io so you will be occupied for a while and while it takes time to level up your gear, you should have a blast doing it.
