How to Obtain the Duellist’s Mask in Hogwarts Legacy

Unfortunately, for those who have purchased the Standard Edition of Hogwarts Legacy, this Mask will not be available for you. Only those who have bought the Deluxe Edition will be able to get their hands on this sharp and Death Eater looking Mask. You can also get this if you have the Dark Arts DLC which gives you access to the Dark Arts Battle Arenas. These are separate to the standard Battle Arenas found throughout the Regions. But in both, you will fight off Waves off enemies, offering you various rarer cosmetic rewards such as the Duellist’s Mask.

The specific Dark Arts Battle Arena you need to find is the Forbidden Forest Arena. It is located north from Hogwarts Witchcraft and Wizardry School and close to the River. It is found incredibly close to the East North Hogwarts Region Floo Flame fast-travel point. The Arena Statue is located at the top of the hill, north-east from the Floo Flame. Refer to the screenshot below of the exact location of the Dark Arts Battle Arena where the Duellist’s Mask is obtained as a reward of completing the Arena.

You will need to activate the Battle Arena via the Statue. But to do this, players must destroy 10 Vases scattered in the nearby area. Use Revelio to easily locate the Vases so you are not wandering around aimlessly. Once done, head back to the Statue and interact with it. This will start the Arena Waves. You must defeat all enemies across a total of 5 Waves. Remember to use the unforgiveable curses whenever you can on larger, more powerful enemies such as Trolls. You should also use Spells such as Imperio and Glacius to halter the enemies movements, especially if you get overwhelmed by the amount of enemies at one time.

By defeating all enemies of the five Waves, you will be rewarded with the Duellist’s Mask. There is no Chest to open, the Mask is obtained as soon as you beat the final Wave of the Dark Arts Battle Arena. You can put this on via the Headwear Tab under Appearance.
