How to Get Dragon’s Breath in Minecraft

Getting Dragon’s Breath in Minecraft is easier than you think! This will be especially easy if you already planned on beating the game, as you’ll need to travel to the End dimension anyways to get the Dragon’s Breath. Dragon’s Breath can only be obtained in the End dimension; you can’t craft it or get it from any other location in the game.

Before you go hunting for the stronghold and hop into the End, however, you’ll need to make some glass bottles first. Bring as many empty glass bottles with you as you can before you go to the End dimension; you’ll need them to collect the Dragon’s Breath.

Once you get to the End dimension and start battling the Ender Dragon, you’ll see it do a breath attack, which will cause a cloud of purple particles to appear in the air or on the ground, depending on where she attacked. Use the empty glass bottles to scoop up the breath by putting the bottles in your dominant hand and clicking on the purple particles.

Once you’ve scooped up the breath, all that’s left to do is beat the game! Finish off the Ender Dragon and head home with your new prize!

What is Dragon’s Breath Used For?

Not only is Dragon’s Breath one of the coolest-looking items in the game, but it’s also incredibly useful, especially in potion-making. Dragon’s Breath is an item that can be added to any splash potion to upgrade it into a lingering potion, which will cause the splash potion’s effect to last much longer.

Additionally, lingering potions can also be used to craft tipped arrows, which are incredibly useful in combat! If you ever want to know more about crafting or potion-making in Minecraft, check out Gamer Journalist’s hundreds of other useful Minecraft guides!
