if you want cogs, you can keep doing the randomised quests from the Robo bear. You also gain bonuses of cogs if you complete the quests within a 2 minute time limit. So by doing his quests quickly, you’ll be gathering cogs like no one’s business.

You can also gain cogs through combat. Golden Cogmowers now rove around, and if you defeat them, you’ll gain a guaranteed 14 cogs. You’ll need rather tough bees to take it down, however.
