How Do I Find Blue Steel?
In order to get to the blue steel, you’ll have to do a bit of traveling. Spawn a boat in, and begin to set sail. Your first task is to look for a shipwreck. They spawn every 45 minutes, but you’ll want to be quick, as other players will look for and loot them. As soon as the shipwreck spawns in, you’ll see some chests that contain blue steel crystals. You’ll need to be careful though, as other players will want the strong, useful crystals too.
Upon mining these, you’ll have the chance to get blue steel. However, there are a few things you’ll need first.
What will I need to get blue steel?
In order to actually get the blue steel chests, you’ll need a good pickaxe. You’ll also need a steel smelter, an iron forge, a crafting table, and a copper smithy. This is all to make a blue steel furnace. You’ll need the copper smithy to get bricks, the steel smelter for steel nails, and the crafting table for wooden planks. You’ll also need the iron smelter to get shingles – the last thing you need to make the necessary furnace.
Once you have all of this – including the blue steel crystals, you can use steel and the crystals to make the blue steel.
What can I do with blue steel?
Blue steel is an in-game resource that can make you some pretty powerful tools. If you’re looking for armor, you can make a chest plate, pants, boots, and a helmet.
