How to Get All Gang Members in LISA: The Painful
Throughout the game, you’ll encounter various characters who have the potential to become your gang members. Pay attention to the dialogue and actions of NPCs you meet during your journey, as some may offer to join your gang or drop hints about their willingness to do so.
Many gang members can be recruited simply by completing specific side quests or fulfilling certain requirements, like Rooster or Mad Dog. Always be on the lookout for opportunities to assist others and make a positive impact on their lives; kindness is (usually) rewarded in LISA: The Painful!
Out of all of the NPCs in the game, there are 30 potential gang members LISA: The Painful. Each potential gang member has their own specific set of requirements that need to be met in order to be recruited; some only require you to be at the right place at the right time, like Terry or Percy, but others require a bit more effort, like Bo Wyatt.
Here are all 30 of the recruitable gang members in LISA: The Painful and how to recruit them (in alphabetical order):
- Ajeet Mandeep – Ajeet can be found in Skull Town and will only join Brad’s party if he hasn’t given in to his Joy addiction (so don’t use any Joy!).
- Beastborn – Beastborn can be found near the Area 1 crossroads and will reluctantly join Brad’s party after being defeated in battle.
- Birdie Hall – Birdie can be found in between Bob’s Dojo and the Area 2 crossroads. He will join Brad’s party if he is given Olathian Whiskey.
- Bo Wyatt – Bo can be found in Muddy Waters and will join Brad’s party if Brad plays Henry Wyatt’s (his brother’s) record on a record player.
- Buckets – Buckets can be found in the Roulette Building. He’ll forcibly join Brad’s gang if Brad wins 10 rounds of roulette in a row.
- Buffalo Van Dyke – Buffalo is located at the top of Snow Mountain and will join Brad’s gang if he’s defeated in battle.
- Carp – Carp can be found in the bar in the Construction 2 area. He will join Brad’s party if he’s given Green Paste from Fishman Town.
- Clint Olympic – Clint can be found in Skull Town and will join Brad’s gang if he’s given 500 Mags.
- Crisp Ladaddy – Crisp can be found in the Stone Village and will reluctantly join Brad’s gang if Brad takes his lover, Toby, hostage.
- Dick Dickson – Dick is found in the second Construction area and will automatically join Brad’s gang after he loses commitment to the Rangers (his role-playing pals).
- Fardy Hernandez – Fardy can be found in the Factory storage room after the Men’s Hair Club is defeated. Once he’s been rescued, he’ll join Brad’s gang.
- Fly Minetti – Fly can be found on Garbage Island and will only join Brad’s gang after he is defeated in a series of cart races.
- Garth – Garth is easy to spot along Area 2 and will gladly join Brad’s gang for 150 Mags.
- Geese Thompson – Geese can be found residing in the Inn that’s located on the way to the Construction area. He will forcibly join Brad’s party if Brad sleeps in the Inn at least 4 times.
- Harvey Alibastor – Harvey can be found in Fishman Town and will aid Brad in court after he steals a map. Once the court hearing is over, Harvey will join Brad’s gang.
- Jack – Jack can be found in Bob’s Dojo and will join Brad’s gang if he’s given a new deck of Playing Cards.
- Mad Dog – Mad Dog can be met just outside of the Factory Town and will join Brad’s gang if he is given a Spiked Club.
- Nern – Nern can be found residing in his house on Nern’s Cliff and will join Brad’s party if Brad talks to him 3 times.
- Olan Hoyt – Olan can be found in a bar in Area 1 and will automatically join Brad’s gang if he’s bought a drink.
- Ollie Nickels – Ollie can be found in his bar (Ollie’s) on Garbage Island. He’ll join Brad’s gang if his massive Magezine debts are paid off (it’s only 2 Magazines).
- Percy Monsoon – Percy can be found in the Area 1/2 Transition and will automatically join Brad’s gang after Brad kills a spider for him.
- Queen Roger – Queen Roger is found in the Beehive and will join Brad’s gang after he completes the Bee Job minigame.
- Rage Ironhead – Rage can be found in a bar in Area 1 and will join Brad’s gang for 70 Mags.
- Rando – Rando will automatically join your party.
- Rando returns as a party member in LISA: The Joyful!
- Rooster Coleman – Rooster is found in his house in Area 1 and will join Brad’s gang if Brad holds his favorite chicken, Goldie, hostage.
- RT – RT is found in The Beehive and will join Brad’s gang if Duffie, his lost duffel bag, is returned to him.
- Shocklord – Shocklord can easily be found at EWC and will join Brad’s gang after he and Brad win the Tag Team Championship
- Sonny Backluwitz – Sonny can be found in a secluded cave near the EWC. He’ll gladly join Brad’s gang after he wins the Eternal Title Belt.
- Terry Hintz – Terry Hintz is found in the first few areas of the game and will automatically join Brad’s gang.
- Tiger Man – Tiger Man can be found in Bob’s Dojo and will join Brad’s gang once he’s been defeated in battle.
- Yazan Barghouti – Yazan can be found wandering around near Bob’s Dojo. All Brad has to do is speak to him to get him to join his gang.
- Note – On the east side of Area 2, there is a pair of men that Brad can give TNT to. By doing this, however, it will cause the men to demolish Bob’s Dojo, resulting in the loss of all of the NPCs inside, including Yazan, Tiger Man, and Jack.
- To avoid this disastrous outcome, move towards the entrance of the Dojo, leap down, and proceed eastward, passing over the two men entirely.
How Many Gang Members Can Be Recruited at a Time?
You can recruit as many of the 30 possible gang members as you want throughout your journey through Olathe, but you’ll only ever be able to have 3 of them in your party at a time.
LISA: The Painful only allows parties of 4, which means you’ll have to choose your 3 favorite gang members to fight alongside you at a time.
If you ever get tired of your party arrangement or you recruit a new gang member, you can always switch out your gang members at any of the various red Gang signs that are hung up all over the place.
