You’d be surprised what kind of neat stuff you can make out of common household materials and chemicals. I’m not gonna list any of that stuff because I don’t want to get sued, but the point still stands. Even if you don’t have a home, like Amicia and Hugo in A Plague Tale: Requiem, there are materials all over the place, ripe for experimentation. Here’s how to get Alcohol and other supplies in A Plague Tale: Requiem.
How to Get Alcohol and Other Supplies in Plague Tale Requiem
Using her alchemical skills, Amicia can cook up all kinds of handy items, the handiest being alchemical ammo. Using alchemical ammo in tandem with her Sling or Crossbow, Amicia can start or extinguish fires, generate smokescreens, summon swarms of rats, and stun and encumber enemies with tar.

In order to craft these handy doodads, Amicia needs to gather alchemical supplies. There are five types of alchemical supplies that can be used to craft alchemical ammo, and they are as follows:
- Alcohol
- Sulphur
- Saltpeter
- Fabric
- Resin
There’s Always Time for Some Science
So where can you find these materials? Like I said, there’s science everywhere! Literally! You can find containers of any of those five materials lying around the game world. They can be on the ground, stashed in the corners of rooms, or just sitting on top of a barrel. As you travel around, you should search every area thoroughly to pick up any supplies you can get your hands on.
In addition to loose deposits of supplies, you can also find larger quantities of them stashed in treasure chests. Smaller treasure chests are usually out in the open or slightly out of sight, while secret treasure chests can be uncovered by thoroughly searching the environment and going off the beaten path. If you ever see a path that clearly isn’t the way toward progress, check it out; odds are good there’s going to be a chest at the end of it.
The more supplies you have, the more alchemical ammo you can craft, which can get you out of some nasty situations. Nothing says “control over your world” like dumping a bunch of tar on the ground and lighting it on fire. It’s science! Basically!
