How to Get a Broom in Hogwarts Legacy – Broom Guide

Fly like a Hippogriff.

Quidditch is a game that we have always wished to play or see. Personally, I’m not too fond of high speed chases, filled with magic balls that will hit me in the face. Therefore, I will take a seat in the bench, thank you very much. However, the idea of flight thanks to a magic broom has always been an interest of many. Furthermore, it has been a wizard or witch item trope across history and media alike. Having said that, we will be able to fly using our brooms in Hogwarts Legacy. However, you will first have to unlock it. Here is how to get a broom in Hogwarts Legacy.

How to Get a Broom in Hogwarts Legacy

Not only will the broom make your gameplay more fun and entertaining, but it will make the best method of transportation in a huge open-world game such as Hogwarts Legacy. Unfortunately, there will be no Sirius Black to get you the Firebolt. We are hundreds of years away from that anyway. So, how do you get a broom in Hogwarts Legacy? Well, by buying it, of course! But before we do that, here is a word from our sponsors, you will have to take your Flying Class during your second day at Hogwarts, after completing the Jackdaws’ Rest quest. Madam Kogawa will teach you the basis of flying. Afrerwards, go ahead and travel to Spintwitch’s Sporting Needs, located in Hogsmeade. You will be able to purchase a broom for 600 gold. If you are lacking the coin, go ahead and sell some gear or loot containers or treasure vaults.

Flying is pretty straightforward, just hold Tab and press 3 if in Windows, L1 and Circle in PlayStation, or LB and B in Xbox consoles. You can ascend and descend pretty nicely with the mapped keys, and you will be able to fly across the map. There is also a speed boost that you will be able to use, however it will be limited by a meter. You will just have to wait for this speed boost meter to fill up again to continue boosting.

In the meantime, gather all the coin you have and go ahead and purchase your first broom.
