One such thing players are going to want to become very familiar with is the game’s gardening mechanics. Though not too complex, there is quite a bit to learn about it. Today, we’ll explain how to garden in Disney Dreamlight Valley so that you can begin to grow crops and make some money too.

How to Garden in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Getting started with gardening really isn’t something that takes very long to get into during a playthrough of Disney Dreamlight Valley. In fact, you’ll acquire the needed tools to get started on your garden or small farm within the opening moments of the game’s campaign.

The quest, “The Royal Tools” will require you to find a pickaxe, shovel, watering can, and fishing rod, all of which will come in handy for specific tasks that players will need to complete in order to take advantage of what the world around them offers. While most of these tools work independently from one another, the shovel and watering work together for the purpose of gardening.

Once you get those two tools, you’re ready to begin your gardening dream! Let’s explain how to actually garden, assuming you now have what you need.

  • First, you’ll want to take out your shovel and dig a gardening spot wherever you’d like to start your garden.
  • To take out your shovel, go into your tool wheel and select it.
  • Next, go ahead and drop seeds into the small hole.
  • You can either obtain seeds through foraging throughout the Valley or by purchasing them directly from Goofy at his stall.
  • After planting your seeds, go ahead and water them using your watering can.
  • To pull out your watering can, simply go back into your tool wheel and pull it out.
  • Just wait for your crops to fully grow and you’ll be able to pluck them from the ground.
  • It’s worth noting that crops will grow faster if planted in areas where they originate from.

Gardening can be a lucrative venture as the vegetables can be used to make meals that are good for Energy, quests, or even for selling. Additionally, vegetables can be sold to Goofy at his stall for some quick and easy money.

That’s all there is to gardening in Disney Dreamlight Valley!
