Several players have reported, across all platforms, that the ability to edit their custom loadout is locked. Reaching the level 4 requirement for it to automatically unlock is useless. How to Fix the Custom Loadout Locked Bug in Modern Warfare 2

There are a couple of things you can try and do to fix this issue in Modern Warfare 2. Here is all the information you will need. We will keep you updated.

  • Reboot your game/system: the meat and potatoes of all troubleshooting in the history of technology: try to reboot your game and see if the issue is gone. MW2 will reconnect to the servers and hopefully will fix the bug at hand. You can also try to restart your system if rebooting your game doesn’t work.
  • Continue levelling up: there are some reports that gamers have been able to unlock their custom loadouts by them continue playing. Just level up in the game.
