Make Sure You’re Friends Through Overwatch 2

Though you may be friends on your specific gaming platform, another reason why you may not see your friends is that you aren’t friends through Overwatch 2. Similar to games like Fortnite or Call of Duty, Overwatch 2 has its own friends list within the game that you can befriend other players through. Chances are, you may not see these friends because you aren’t friends in-game.

Here’s how to friend people in Overwatch 2:

  • Go to your friends list
  • Click the “Add Friend” option.
  • Enter either their Battletag (Overwatch 2 username) or email attached to that account.
  • They’ll be sent a friend request to accept.
  • Once accepted, you’ll be able to see each other.

Those are all of our remedies to fix your friends list not showing up in Overwatch 2! Be sure to check out some of our other guides to fix some of the ongoing issues in Overwatch 2.
