One of the most annoying bugs in the game

The Witcher 3 is no stranger to bugs and glitches, but one stubborn bug outright refuses to be solved with patches. The Master of the Arena bug in Witcher 3 is one of the most stubborn, annoying bugs in the game; if you’re a victim of this bug and don’t feel like waiting around for the developers to finally fix it, keep reading to find out how you can fix it on your own!

How to Fix the Master of the Arena Bug in Witcher 3

The Master of the Arena bug is a nasty little bug that prevents players from completing the Master of the Arena quest in Witcher 3. You’ll know that you’re a victim of this bug when you’ve defeated all of the enemies and tried to complete your quest, only to be told that the villagers still need your help. There are a few players that reported fixing this bug simply by waiting and meditating for weeks at a time, but this solution doesn’t work for everybody.

Thankfully, there’s another solution to this bug that’s just as simple. If you’re a victim of the Master of the Arena bug in Witcher 3, try fast traveling away to a different location (it doesn’t matter where) and wait for a while. After a few in-game hours have passed (you may have to wait longer, though 2 to 3 hours is usually more than enough), fast-travel back and then try to complete your quest again. Doing this should fix the bug immediately!

Unfortunately, it’s unclear whether or not the developers know of this bug. They have made no announcements regarding patches or bug fixes, and the last few that were released did not include the Master of the Arena bug. Until the developers are made aware of this bug and react accordingly, players who encounter the Master of the Arena bug in Witcher 3 will just have to find their own way around it.

Thankfully, fixing this bug by yourself isn’t too difficult, but it’s still a hassle to have to deal with it at all. It’s recommended that you try using the fast travel method prior to anything else since it has the highest success rate among victims of this bug.
