Madden 23 has been leading the American football scene for some time now. The latest version has not been riding smoothly without flaws. A recent error has created some ruckus in the community.
The new SSL Connect error is plaguing the console community, affecting PlayStation 4 and 5 users. The error is very annoying since it restricts players from playing the game. A white screen will appear while playing the game, forcing players to stop playing. Let’s see how we can fix this error.
How to Fix Madden 23 SSL Connect Error for PS4 and PS5
The SSL Connect error happens because PlayStation probably has a poor connection with the Electronic Arts’ Origin account. If there is an issue with the connection, you will face an error in your EA games. You need to either connect or reconnect your console account to Origin.

Here are a few simple steps to fix the error:
- Visit EA’s official website and click on the profile icon at the top right hand side of your screen.
- Now, click on Sign In. Enter the username and password for your PlayStation ID.
- The website will prompt you to link your Origin account with your PlayStation.
- Add the connection.
To confirm if the connection is there, visit your Account Settings. Go to Connections, you will notice the new PlayStation connection showing. This should fix the error. However, if you are still facing the issue, we recommend contacting EA Support immediately.
