Slime Rancher 2 is an incredibly cute game, but it also can be very sweet. And I don’t just mean the honey slimes. If you’re a rancher who really wants to invest in Slime Science, then you’ll be needing the wild honey from the busy bees in Starlight Strand. You’ll need to relieve their coffers to craft many important gadgets and items. Here is how to find wild honey in Slime Rancher 2.
How to find Wild Honey in Slime Rancher 2
Wild honey is exclusively found in the vibrant lands of Starlight Strand. There are a lot of resources there, so make sure you start your visit with a clear inventory!
Wild honey deposits are found in the round and yellow bee hives that hang from trees. However, these hives can produce more than just wild honey, but also buzz wax. Hives containing wild honey can be identified by the shiny golden liquid (honey) spilling out from the bottom.
They are super common, all you must do is walk around Starlight Strand, albeit it avoiding the drier, shore areas, and keep an eye on cliffs and trees. There will be an abundance of hives.
WHen you find one, suck with your vacpac to dislodge the honey. After some convincing, 2 – 3 wild honey will break off the hive and come careening down into your vacpac. You’ll have to wait for the bees to replenish their stock to harvest from that node again.

Farming tips for Wild Honey
Due to how common wild honey is, you may find that your tanks get quite full quite quickly. To lighten the load on your inventory, place 1 or 2 refineries down around Starlight Strand to allow you to quickly deposit resources as you go.
Also, some of the hives are in quite perilous places, such as across a part of the slime sea or up super high on a cliff face. So remember to be careful! Else you will lose everything in your vacpac.
