How to Find Side Quests on the Map in Hogwarts legacy

You'll have to comb over the map a little bit to see certain markers.

If there is something that you will never run short on in Hogwarts Legacy, it’s quests. Starting from the very beginning of course puts you on this linear tutorial section of the game. But as you get to Hogwarts and truly start your adventure, the game inundates you with main quests, as well as lots of side quests. These can take the form of automatically assigned classwork from teachers, to quests that you can start manually. However locating some of these quests might not be clear to some, so we are going to learn how to find side quests on the map in Hogwarts Legacy.

Throughout the course of the game, players will run into students, elves, and others around the world who have a dilemma that could use the main characters help. By now, people should know fairly well what a main quest marker looks like on the map. A gold marker with a Hogwarts crest outline around it.

For the side quest markers, they have the same marker symbol in the middle, but with a grey coloring and a different outline around it. In order to see these on the map, you will have to zoom in a decent amount. Hovering over these will give you the overview of the quest and what it entails. If the quests are located in Hogwarts or Hogsmeade, you will have to go to the respective map, rather than using the larger overworld map.
