Where to find Saber Slimes in Slime Rancher 2

Saber Slimes are part of the secretive and mysterious Powderfall Bluffs in Slime Rancher 2. Once you manage to get there, and have gotten past the awe and beauty of the glacial location, you can start looking for saber slimes. Unlike most other slimes in the game, saber slimes don’t have spawn locations. They’ll simply pop up anywhere on the island!

You shouldn’t be searching for long, but when you find one, quickly vac them up so they don’t bound and leap away! Collect as many as you want to ranch. If you intend to ranch largos, however, then eight would be a good limit. Whilst you’re out there, try to spy some thunderclucks, their favourite food! You’ll find them during the night near aural anomalies or inside caves with hidden entrances.

How to ranch Saber Slimes in Slime Rancher 2

With your saber slimes, set up a corral with high walls and a net. This will be essential for largos and regular saber slimes, as they are very bouncy. If you can, set up a chicken coop of thundercluck chickens or make them into largos with a fruit or veggie diet so you can sustainably feed them their favourite food.

Saber slimes like to roar to intimidate other slimes when eating their food. This isn’t really a problem as long as you have enough food to feed them all. Due to their very bouncy nature, it could be wise to set up hydro turrets around their corral incase they escape if its been too long without feeding!
