How to Find All RW-Variant Flasks in Resident Evil Village: Winters’ Expansion – Shadows of Rose DLC

Players will now be able to control the daughter of Ethan, and her otherworldly powers are waiting to be honed by each and every player. In order for Rose to tap into her full potentional, there will be item collecting along the way in the form of “Power Amplifiers”. The actual term for this within the game are RW-Variant Flasks. There are four to find and collect in the new story scenario of Shadows of Rose. Not only does it increase Rose’s abilities power, but it also goes towards unlocking the achievement/trophy of Craftsmaster. You should not be passing up on these!

How to Find All Four RW-Variant Flasks in Resident Evil Village Shadows of Rose

We’ll keep this short, simple and sweet with easy-to-read bullet points to avoid any confusion in case you are lost or unaware of how many you should have in hand. Do note that once clearing the second major area of House Beneviento, there are no more RW-Variant Flasks to pick up. Here’s how to obtain the four that you need before heading towards its conclusion. This will help you prepare and fight its final boss since you will have unlocked three additional moves to counter and attack them with.

1. One of the earliest objectives of the scenario is to “Find a power amplifier”, meaning to locate the very first RW-Variant Flask. This one is contained within the Workshop and Michael points directly to it upon entering it. You want to immediately head towards the library, bypass all the Face Eaters and make your way to the Workshop from there. Upon collecting this first flask, you will be able to now destroy the mass cores that block off resources and new pathways and locations.
2. RW-Variant Flask number two can be found when locating the second mask of the silver one. This is done when exploring the right side of the upper floor of the Grand Hall. Once triggering the chase sequence when exploring the tiny room and following the guidance of Michael in a swift escape to safety, players will now have the Fireplace in view. You will clearly be able to see RW-Variant Flash 2 in view here.
3. After getting the three masks, a cutscene plays out where Rose is tricked by the Merchant into receiving a replica of the Purifying Crystal. Rose is then absorbed into the floor and dropped into the dungeon area where a boss fight commences. Defeat Amalgam during his second phase and you will be rewarded with RW-Variant Flask number three.
4. This last one is located within House Beneviento. Players will encounter and interact with it when preparing for the boss fight against Eveline. Again, this is made evidently clear to pick up before going for Eveline and will fully unlock Rose’s power potential. Just ensure to get through the House Beneviento horrors once more and see the fight through.
