How to Favorite Items in Terraria

Action adventure sandbox game means a lot, and I mean, a lot of items on your backpack. Terraria is not the exception, and the best way to economize your space and be way fast on using your desired items i to favorite them. It’s a mechanic that has been implemented before (I can think about Skyrim for example, although certain mods can improve the UI) and you will certainly benefit from it now. And don’t worry, we will cover all the current platforms in order for you to learn how to favorite items in Terraria.

How to Favorite Items in Terraria

One thing that is a little bit annoying, but understandable due to the abilities and way that the different consoles are designed, is that every platform has a specific way to favorite your items, or to approach the idea in its own way. I will cover how to favorite items in Terraria for the current platforms in which you can play it (like I said before, it is available for all platforms, literally).

PC and Mac

• Open your inventory.
• Hold the left alt key.
• Click on the desired item you wish to favorite.
• A border will appear on said item. It is now your favorite item!

PlayStation 5 and 4

There is no way to favorite items in Terraria in PlayStation platforms, but you can bind items to the D-Pad.

• Open your inventory.
• Select your item.
• Press the desired D-Pad direction to bind the item to it.

Xbox X/S Series and One

Just like PlayStation platforms, there is no favorite option on Xbox platforms, but you can bind items to the D-Pad too.

• Open your inventory.
• Select your item
• Press the desired D-Pad direction to bind the item to it.

Nintendo Switch

Like the PlayStation and Xbox platforms, no favorite option is available, but you have the Radial Hotbar.

• Hold the right bumper. The Radial Hotbar will appear.
• Using the Analog Stick, point to the desired item and then release.

Currently, there is no option at all for mobile versions of the game. That being said, enjoy knowing how to favorite items in Terraria.
