What is Company Commander System in Company of Heroes

The Company Commander system is a unique set of rules in the game. According to the system, when you start a new game, you can choose one of three doctrines to use for the duration of the game. Once you pick your choice, the decision stays for the rest of the game.

Importance of Command Points

Each doctrine tree has two paths with three abilities in them. These abilities cost Command Points to unlock.

The abilities can be passive or active. While passive abilities can give a boost to your unit’s stats, active abilities can give special powers to your force. For example, you can call long range air-strikes with the correct use of an active also known as Offmap Abilities.
