How demanding is this event?
Some events in Cells to Singularity are rather demanding, and others are easy. If you don’t generally have the time to check back every few hours of so from the beginning of the event, then you may be worried about being able to complete it.
The Price of Trust is actually quite demanding of your time and management, but it does make up for it through the unique mechanic this event brings. However, if you can’t check back up on it more than a couple times a day, then you’ll need to make use of the boosters.
You can either spend 2 Darwinium Cubes to active it, or watch an ad. I would heavily recommend using boosters for this event, even if you can check back somewhat regularly. Even with an extensive use of boosters, I was only left with one day before I completed the event.
The unique mechanics
The Price of Trust has a couple unique mechanics.
Firstly, it uses four separate currencies. In the Main Simulation, your currency is entropy. In The Price of Trust, however, there are four, with each Generator producing a different one instead of all producing the same thing. Each currency will be needed for the completion of the event.

Secondly, the stage of this event, (the room above the research tree) is actually interactable. Instead of being purely for visual indications of progress, you will be interacting with it to generate more of a certain currency.
As you unlock each generator, a safe will unlock in the stage room. You must tap into the safe to send that currency flying into it. When it is full, indicated by the bar above the lever, flick down the lever. The currency will drop, and you will gain a bonus lump sum of that currency.
The bonus is gained only after filling up the safe three times. The first three times actually contribute to a seperate terminal in the stage room. Ten Darwinium Cubes are trapped, with five metres in front of them. You must unlock all five generators to produce enough currency to free the Darwinium Cubes.
The process of generating even more currency will be vital to the completion of this event.
Strategy to complete The Price of Trust
Your success will be determined by how well you do in the first 24 hours of the event being live.
Progress up the tech tree by tapping until you hit the first generator.
With that unlocked, keep filling up the safe in the stage and generating bonuses. It may get a little repetitive, but keep buying researches and more of that generator. The more your generator produces, the bigger the bonus is from filling the safe.
It may take quite a few safe fills, but it is achievable to progress to the second generator in one sitting, and that’s without the boosts active. When you hit your first generator, it would be advised to activate a boost to make the process much, much quicker.
With the second generator unlocked, you can worry about getting the third in the next 24 hours.
There are just over 5 days until the event ends from when it starts. If you are gaining at least one generator every day, and keep coming back even just to top up the booster, then you should be okay. After your second generator, the reliance of using the safes to generate money will slowly become more and more redundant as your cps get astronomically higher and higher.
