Being able to defend your territory is not only an honor, but an obligation. Specially if there is an invasion of elusive creatures. Now, having outside help in order to deal with the enemy is always welcome. Today, you will be that outside help for the dragonkin living in Ohn’ahran Plains, in the Dragon Isles. Be ready, here is how to complete The Chittering Rocks in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.
How to Complete The Chittering Rocks
The Chittering Rocks is the tenth quest available in the Garden of Secrets storyline. It requires you to be at least a level 70 character to begin this quest. In order to start it, you will have to talk to the NPC Somnikus. He is a green dragonkin located on the island at the Shady Sanctuary, on Ohn’ahran Plains. You will be tasked with investigating Suspicious Permafrost and slaying Glacial Tunnelers.
In total, you will have to investigate, and when I say to investigate, that means to destroy 24 Suspicious Permafrost and slay 8 Glacial Tunnelers. Be sure to get rid of those Glacial Tunnelers by using ranged attacks, since these frozen, spider-like creatures will run up to you pretty fast. Deal with them fast while you look for the Suspicious Permafrost. They are big boulder-like structures in the ground that will be highlighted whenever you are close to them. Don’t look for them in caves of any kind, they are spread across the terrain and are quite easy to spot. At one point, you will receive the help of Gerithus, one of the dragonkin as well.

Once you get rid of all the creatures, head back to Somnikus and talk to him. The quest will end, and you will receive the following rewards: 28 gold, 8 silver, and 9,500 experience. Be ready since you will continue this storyline practically in the same place where you are located while speaking to Somnikus. We will talk about the next quest, some other time. Good luck!
