The addition of the World of Warcraft Dragonflight expansion brings with it so much content for players to see and do in the game. Of course, part of the excitement of any expansion is being able to complete the wealth of quests it offers.
One of the many tasks players will want to complete is the Siege on Dragonbane Keep, which is unlocked by reaching Renown 5 with the Valdrakken Accord. This is a World Event that, when unlocked on one character, is unlocked on all of them across the player’s account. After unlocking it, here is how players can easily complete the Siege on Dragonbane Keep in World of Warcraft Dragonflight.
Completing the Siege on Dragonbane Keep
As a World Event, players will be unable to start the Siege on Dragonbane Keep whenever they wish. Instead, it will fall on a 2-hour timer, which alternates between stages at the top of each hour. Here’s what the status changes mean.
The first hour of the event will be unavailable, and players will see the message “The Obsidian Outcasts are gathering. The siege will begin soon.” The next hour, when the event is able to be completed, players will see the message “The Obsidian Outcasts are attempting to take Dragonbane Keep. Assistance is requested.”
After verifying that the event is underway, it’s now time to complete the Siege on Dragonbane Keep.
Players should proceed to the marked area and complete the stages of the event, which culminates in the defeating of the giant Inferna the Bound. Defeating Inferna the Bound will end the event, granting players 50 reputation with the Valdrakken Accord.
In addition to the reputation for completing the event, the first completion of the week will grant players a Dragonbane Keep Strongbox of the epic variety, which contains the following:
- 250 Valdrakken Accord reputation
- 1-3 Dragon Isles Artifact
- 1 Titan Relic
- 1 piece of gear scaling with your ilvl (caps at ilvl 382)
- 1-3 Primal Chaos
- 1 Passing Renascence
Subsequent completions of the Siege of Dragonbane Keep will grant players a Dragonbane Keep Strongbox of the rare variety, which can contain:
- 1-3 Dragon Isles Artifact
- 1 Titan Relic
- 15 Dragon Isles Supplies
