How to Complete ‘Minding Your Own Business’ Quest – Hogwarts Legacy Guide

Almost everyone who plays Hogwarts Legacy is in agreement that the game is one of the best released so far in recent memory. Packed full of small details that draw you into the immersive Wizarding World designed by J.K. Rowling, and with amazing visuals developed thanks to Avalanche Software, this game blows all competition out of the water. Add that to the nostalgic feel of visiting Hogwarts as a student and learning spells, potions and how to grow magical plants, Hogwarts Legacy is a game that will be the talk of the town for a while.

In the game, there are many quests and missions that players can complete alongside the main storyline. One of these is the ‘Minding Your Own Business’ quest, which is a PlayStation exclusive. In this guide, we cover all of the steps on how to complete this mission!

How Do You Finish This Quest?

There are a few steps to complete this quest, and to do so players must already be able to visit Hogsmeade. Without further ado, here is how to do the entire quest, from start to finish.

• Firstly, travel to Hogsmeade in the daytime and speak with the House-Elf outside the empty shop there.
• You will then need to go to a waypoint that will be given, where you talk with Cassandra Mason in the southeast of Hogsmeade.
• Buy the store from Cassandra Mason. You will need 1,500 Galleons for this task, so make sure you have that beforehand.
• Speak with the House-Elf again in the same spot.
• Use Reparo and fix your new shop up a little bit.
• Attempt to exit through the door, and then shoot some spells at the mannequins. Cast Lumos and Revelio to reveal a secret doorway.
• Walk down this hallway and you will eventually come upon a room. Walk south after this.
• Use Accio and Wingardium Levioso when you arrive in a room that has lanterns, and move a lantern to the lantern stand that is next to the door there.
• Use Lumos after you walk down the hallway and open a door, where you will encounter Fastidio.
• Explore the library with 2 lanterns so that you can open the door to the exit.
• Dodge Fastidio’s incoming attacks and take out any animated mannequins that he attempts to get you with.
• Turn back to the foyer and then explore the atrium now and bring 2 lanterns as well to open a similar door.
• You will need to dodge Fastidio’s attacks again and destroy any mannequins.
• Head to the foyer again, and walk through the straight hallway to the center of the cemetery,
• Duel Fastidio again in a boss fight, and use Basic Casts to demolish his mannequins.
• Once you have successfully defeated him, venture back to the shop in Hogsmeade by climbing a ladder.
• Speak with the House-Elf for the third time.
• Speak with Ruth Singer, an Officer who is in Hogsmeade Square by the large tree there.
• You will then need to duel Cassandra Mason, the woman from the start of the quest, who can be found where you originally spoke to her.
• Now talk with Penny the House-Elf for the last time back at the shop to finish off this mission. Congratulations!
