Heading into those hard to breathe areas

The many Faction Missions in Warzone’s DMZ Mode will keep you busy. With varying difficulties and objectives that last across many deployments. The Legion Tier 5 ‘Good Prep’ Mission is one which requires a lot of patience in its completion. For a Mission asking you to collect, drop off and exfil with many items to count towards objective completion. ‘Good Prep’ rewards players with the Shotgun Expedite 12 upon completion. This guide will show you how to complete the Tier 5 ‘Good Prep’ Mission of the Legion Faction in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

‘Good Prep’ Mission Summary

This Legion Tier 5 Mission is definitely one of the hardest Dead Drop Missions in DMZ. With two objectives that ask you to find a giant amount of resources. The items specifically in question are for players to find 90 Gas Masks and deliver them to the Dumpster drop point. With the final objective needing you to extract 100 Radiation Blockers. Thankfully the positive note that can be taken from this Mission is that when dropping off the Gas Masks you do not have to do it in one go, nor have to go to a specific drop point. Instead, players can go to any of the five Dead Drop Dumpsters in Al Mazrah to drop off the Gas Masks.

Whilst you have to loot a lot of items, there is a specific set of locations players should go to, to obtain Gas Masks and Radiation Blockers. However, with limited holding space inside the backpacks, players will have to make multiple trips in order to achieve the Dead Drop objective. This entire Mission will likely need to be done in multiple deployments.

How to Complete ‘Good Prep’

Getting 90 Gas Masks

When tackling the Gas Mask objective, players should head to the Radiation Zone of Al Mazrah. This is the best spot to farm Gas Masks as the AI in this area will be wearing and holding a Gas Mask due to the toxic Zone. Just like the gas ring in Warzone, players inside will slowly lose their health unless they are wearing a Gas Mask themselves. We recommend killing a few enemies around the perimeter of the Radiation Zone and then picking up a Gas Mask and using it to loot the other bodies for their Gas Masks.

The Radiation Zone appears in various locations around Al Mazrah and houses the NPC Boss, Chemist. Refer to the Map to find the yellow circle with the purple Radiation icon in the centre. These usually pop up in hospitals. When you find it, you should alert the NPCs and draw them out to the circle perimeter, that way you can kill them before they approach. Saving you from using multiple Gas Masks or Radiation Blockers. You should utilize buildings as cover, that way you can take out multiple enemies without being shot at. The best Radiation Zone is south of Al Mazrah City.

The Gas Masks take up one slot at a time inside your inventory. Meaning you will need to make many trips to drop them off to the Dead Drop point.

Getting 100 Radiation Blockers

The best way to farm Radiation Blockers is by targeting the 5 Hospitals in Al Mazrah. These are found under the coordinates:

  • C3 – East of Rohan Oil, beside Gas Station.
  • D6 – South side of Sa-id City, on the border of the River.
  • x2 H5 – First Hospital is east of both Mawizen Marshlands and Al Sharim Pass. West of the Gas Station in the area. Second Hospital is west across the River from the first H5 Hospital. South-east of Al Sharim Pass and past the Gas Stations in the area.
  • D8 – Located south-east inside the flooded Sawah Village.

For Map screenshots of these locations listed above, refer to our other article: All Hospital Locations in Warzone 2.0 DMZ. Check the medical cabinets inside the Hospitals for the Radiation Blockers. Remember that you will not be able to find 90 Radiation Blockers in one deployment. So continue to extract them from the Map using the Exfil locations in Al Mazrah when you think you have found enough. As you do not need to find, nor is it plausible of finding all 90 and 100 Gas Masks and Radiation Blockers in one deployment. Players should redeploy and update both counters whenever they can. Make sure to check out the Radiation Zones for Gas Masks and the Hospitals for Radiation Blockers.
