How To Complete Disarming Presence Mission in Warzone 2.0 DMZ – Drop ISO Hemlock Weapons

Get ahead of the Mission by bringing in something Insured

Sometimes the Missions asked by your superior are just a bit bizarre. Why on Earth the operation requires you to locate and drop off a trio of the same gun whilst having to leave with another one yourself is something that I cannot fathom. These type of errands that they are sending our men out on must be a clever way to get you onto into the field and take out any opposition that tries to roam the streets of Vondel. Thankfully, this Exclusion Zone is filled with the ISO Hemlock so getting in and out should be easy. This is Vincent’s guide on how to complete the Phalanx Tier 1 Mission, Disarming Presence in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.

Although and thankfully, this is not one of those Missions that requires teammates to complete, it is made significantly easier if you and your teammates bring in the ISO Hemlock for the deployment you are trying to complete this Mission on. This is because you are required to not only Dead Drop this Weapon multiple times but, you will need to extract it too. Luckily, the ones you Dead Drop can easily be what you and your teammates bring with you as your Insured Weapon. If you are playing alone however, you will just have a longer route to Dead Dropping the ISO Hemlock. Thankfully this is one of the common dropped Weapons by the Vondel low-tier AI. You should avoid the residential area of Vondel as this threat level is high and playing solo can leave you more overwhelmed than you would normally like for looting corpses.

But when either Dead Dropping the Hemlock or searching for one to extract with, you should stay around the Dead Drop area in Zoo. The threat level here is a medium which is perfect for finding the roaming AI soldiers that you can take out and loot after clearing the area. Alternatively, completing Contracts can lead you directly to enemies or entering the Strongholds, although that is riskier than other options. Regardless on what you pick, you will need to drop off 3 ISO Hemlock Weapons into any Dead Drop. Whilst we recommend the Zoo, you can go to any to complete this objective. We recommend however to get those 10 kills using the Hemlock you entered in with first and then drop the Weapon into the Dead Drop after completing this objective.

Finally, you will need to find a new ISO Hemlock but it cannot have attachments. These can also be found off enemy AI and will appear as a grey Weapon, with no attachments in its description when picking it up. If you were to try and exfil with yours, your teammates or a grey Weapon with attachments, the final objective will not complete and the Mission will fail.
