Warzone 2.0 has a new mode now called DMZ. In this mode, you complete Faction Mission which consist of extraction objectives. These Faction Missions are divided by Tiers, which increase in difficulty as you progress through them. Each Mission has different rewards upon completion, all of which reward the player with a sum of XP. The Faction we are looking at is Black Mous, specifically Mission 1 of Tier 1. This is the first mission of the Faction, therefore for those just getting started with Faction Missions, this one is for you. With the reward of the Lachman-762 and 5,000 XP. This is our guide on how to complete the ‘Always Listening’ Black Mous Mission in Warzone 2.0 DMZ.
‘Always Listening’ Mission Summary
Mission 1 of the Black Mous Faction asks for you to locate 5 radios. To get this you need to kill Al-Qatala members who can drop these radios as lootable items. These are the exact objectives that you need to complete in ‘Always Listening’:
- Loot 5 radios off Al-Qatala members that you have downed.
- Use the radios to find 15 hostiles which you must kill.
The objectives are simple, as you might expect from the first Mission of a DMZ Faction. However you are not given specific instructions on where to locate the Al-Qatala members in order to obtain the required radios for the second objective. This Mission can easily be completed solo, so let us get into the guide on how to beat ‘Always Listening’.

How to Complete ‘Always Listening’
Finding the 5 Radios
The Al-Qatala members can be found in the main locations on the Al Mazrah map. These include any location with a name on the map. Such as Taraq Village, Sattiq Caves or Al Sharim Pass. When looking for the members, all you need to do is target the general low-level Soldiers that you will see throughout the map. These are found hovering around the main locations on the map so you should be able to locate them with ease.
To fast-travel around the map we recommend using a vehicle, preferably some type of car rather than a helicopter. This will allow you to get in and out of areas quickly and locate the Soldiers which you need to neutralize. What is great about this specific Mission is that you do not need to kill armored enemies. Instead, you can focus solely on taking down the lowest level enemies who have much smaller Health Pools. This will be much quicker than trying to find high-valued targets.
The drop rate of the radios is randomized, therefore it may take a while to obtain the 5 radios needed to the next objective. Whenever you drop an enemy you will see their loot on the ground. Have a look for ‘Activate UAV’ which has a Radio icon. Upon pick up the UAV will start and flag up any enemies nearby. You should then immediately go to them to take them out. This will add to the total Kill Count on the second objective.
Getting the 15 Kills
As soon as you pick up the UAV it will start marking enemies. This only lasts for 5 seconds. So we recommend that you pick up the loot in a location where a lot of enemies spawn nearby. As soon as the UAV starts any kills you get in those 5 seconds will count towards the second objective Kill Counter. Once you pick up 5 radios you will be able to access the Radio Towers on the map which will pop UAV that last that same amount of time as they do in a standard Team Death Match. Refer to the Al Mazrah map below for UAV Tower Locations (red dots). These are where you should aim to go so that after you have found all 5 Radios you can activate the UAV via one of these Towers.
It is best to complete the entire Mission inside one of the primary locations on the map which has a UAV Tower. The Tower can be controlled via a Laptop located in the area so keep an eye out for that when you have obtained all 5 Radios. Using a UAV Tower will make completely this Mission a lot easier.
