If you’re new to retail WoW and aren’t very familiar with all the zones, there are a few quests you may find confusing in Shadowlands. One of the main campaign quests eventually leads you into the Twilight Highlands to speak with Alexstrasza the Life-Binder. Unless you’ve explored all of Azeroth and know the game well, you may not know how to get there. Luckily, it’s relatively easy thanks to the portals in Orgrimmar and Stormwind. How to Complete A Token of Lost Love in WoW Shadowlands
To complete A Token of Lost Love in World of Warcraft Shadowlands, you need to travel to the Twilight Highlands and speak with Alexstrasza. She is a dragon located in the northwest portion of the zone, in Vermillion Redoubt.
For Horde players, the coordinates for the Twilight Highlands portal in Orgrimmar are 49.97, 39. Alliance can use the coordinates for the Twilight Highlands portal in Stormwind, which are 75, 16.
Once you take the portal to Twilight Highlands, you’ll need to use your mount. A flying mount will be the preferred option of travel here. There were once flight paths here, but they are now disabled. Therefore, the only way to get to Alexstrasza is to traverse the entire Twilight Highlands zone. Alexstrasza should be marked on your map at this point, but she’s at approximately 27, 21.
After speaking with her, you will begin on the next part of the quest chain, where you’ll need to return to your Sanctum (in my case, Ardenweald). So, after speaking with Alexstrasza, open up the chest behind her and loot the quest item. The last thing you’ll want to do is come back here all over again because you forgot the item!
Another thing to note is that you’ll probably want your Hearthstone on cooldown so you can get back and turn-in the quest easier. I hope this helps you out if you’re stuck trying to figure out how to get to the Twilight Highlands from Stormwind or Orgrimmar.
