How to Collect Goo in Bee Swarm Simulator

It's getting gooey in here.

If there’s one thing I kind of wish I didn’t know about bees, it’s how much they… secrete. Seriously, bees are very gooey critters, and I’m not even talking about honey. Still, I guess as long as honey and pollination and all that keeps happening, they’re within their rights to be as gooey as they want. Speaking of, here’s how to collect Goo in Bee Swarm Simulator.

How to Collect Goo in Bee Swarm Simulator

Goo is a secondary resource in Bee Swarm Simulator that serves a few different purposes. First and foremost, any flowers you harvest Honey from that also have Goo on them will yield a greater amount of Honey than usual, so it’s helpful for maximizing your Honey yield. Additionally, Goo is necessary for the completion of several quests offered up by Onett and Spirit Bear.

Collecting Goo is a two-step process. The first step is actually placing the Goo on your flowers. There are two primary means of doing this:

  • Gumdrops: Usable items that splat Goo puddles on any flowers they’re dropped on. Can be purchased from the Gumdrop shop, dropped by certain objects, items, and NPCs, or received from codes.
  • Gummy Boots: A special pair of boots with the Goo Trail ability, leaving a trail of Goo wherever you walk. Costs 100,000,000,000 Honey, 500 Glue, 250 Glitter, 250 Red Extracts, and 250 Blue Extracts.

Using your Goo-spreading method of choice, lay out a big puddle of Goo on a bed of flowers. No need to be stingy, really Goo those flowers up. The larger a Goo puddle is, and the more flowers that single puddle covers, the more Honey it’ll ultimately yield. If you’ve got the time and means, spread that sticky stuff around.

Once the Goo is spread out, you can harvest the Pollen from the covered flowers in the same ways you normally would. You can do it yourself with tools or have some bees do it for you. Either way, upon harvesting, you’ll receive the Goo you spread out, alongside a boosted Pollen and Honey yield. It’s a win-win!

You can repurpose any collected Goo to set up more Goo puddles, or trade the stuff to your friends and help them boost their own yields. Just remember to harvest the Goo-covered flowers, as Goo puddles will disappear if you leave them for too long.
