How to Claim Trading Post Mount in Wow: Dragonflight

More Mounts!

In World of Warcraft, mounts have long been prized by collectors. Even achievements like “Mountain of Mounts” exist for collecting mounts. The prize from the new Traveler’s Log is now one of the most sought-after mounts. The new Trading post was introduced at the same time as The Traveler’s Log. This brand-new method of earning cosmetics uses a currency dealers tender. Tasks in the Traveler’s Log may be completed to earn not only travelers’ tender but also a unique bonus each month. Let’s look at some of these objectives and how to claim your trading post mount in World of Warcraft: Dragonflight.

A Little of Everything

The Traveler’s Log is loaded with a variety of assignments that will take you to every attraction in World of Warcraft. You will accumulate points for the progress bar at the top of the log with each task you accomplish. One of the nicest things about some of these assignments is that you won’t often need to change up your usual playstyle to do most of them. Some of the more regular gameplay duties include the following:

  • Complete 15 World Quests
  • Defeat Dragon Isles Master Tamers With Dragonkin Pets
  • Win 5 Battlegrounds
  • Kill 10 Dragonflight Raid Bosses
  • Earn Reputation Throughout the Dragon Isles

There are also specially created tasks every month for those of you who enjoy a little diversity to spice up your games. These assignments include things like “Eat a Chocolate Cake Slice, Lovely Cake Slice, and Berry Pie Slice,” as well as, “Show Some Love to the Dragon Aspects.”

Claiming Your Rewards

The first four parts of the progress bar have a value of 100 points apiece. With the last portion earning an additional 100 traders’ tender and the mount Ash’adar, Harbinger of Dawn. Once you have finished enough missions to fill the progress bar, proceed to the capital city of your faction to claim your reward. For the Alliance this is Stormwind and then Orgrimmar, for the Horde. When prizes are available, a large coin on the mini map indicates the location of the trading post. You will notice the Collectors Cache as you get closer to the trade station. All trading post rewards must be claimed here. Since 1995, I have had an inseparable relationship with mobile games. More recently, my goal has been to bridge the gap between skill and critical thinking in video games. You don't have to be the best all the time to be the best. I'm here to prove it! I like competitive and casual, mobile and console and everything in between. World of Warcraft, League of Legends, Call of Duty and Apex are my current favorite games. Oh, did I mention that I love LEGO Star Wars games!
