Warhammer 40K: Darktide is a game of gorgeous gore and pain as you crush your way through hordes of enemies. But even the Imperium’s most advanced warriors wouldn’t be able to do that without a well-thought loadout. Your loadout is what you will be bringing into combat with you, so it had better be a good one else you will get ripped to shreds by the hordes of Nurgle. How to change your loadout in Warhammer 40K: Darktide
Your loadout is all of the weapons and bits and bobs that you bring into battle with you, so you’ll want to modify every aspect of it to make sure that you’re familiar with your weapons and that you have the best of you equipment equipped for battle.
The loadout screen can be accessed by pressing ‘I’. You will immediately be transferred to a screen like this:

There are three main tabs to be aware of, the primary weapon, the secondary weapon, and your curios.
In this screen you have the opportunity to change what you have equipped and can choose through your entire arsenal. All you must do is click on one of your weapons or curios and you’ll be brought to a menu with all of your other gear in the same category. You can then choose what you would like to replace it.
Please note that all of your primary weapons will be melee and all of your secondary weapons will be ranged. You can compare your currently equipped weapon with the weapons in your inventory as well to make more informed decisions.
Also note that your curio slots will unlock as you gain Trust Levels. Your curios will not be accessible until you open up at least one slot. When you have, equipping your curios behaves exactly the same as though equipping a weapon.
