You may want to change the time of day in Cyberpunk 2077 for a variety of reasons. Time definitely moves much quicker than it does in real life in Night City, but sometimes you need it to move even faster. Open up your character’s inventory by pressing the I key (PC) or the menu button (controller). There’s an option to skip time on the bottom left of the screen. Click on skip time and select the number of hours you want to wait. The game will simulate your waiting time and skip forward to the specified time of day.
Similar to the save functionality, the skip time option is not always available. If you’re in the middle of a cutscene or main story quest, the choice may be inaccessible. Another reason you might not be able to skip time is that you’re in an inappropriate area.
Try to move into the open world of Night City and then clicking on skip time again. Lastly, being in combat disables the option, as well.
