Assassin’s Creed Valhalla offers various customization options, including different mounts and raven skins. You won’t be able to switch your mounts until you progress a few hours into the story. If you’re itching to do so, we’ll show you exactly where you can do it and the process you’ll need to follow. Here’s how to change mounts in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
How to Change Mounts in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
To change your mounts in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you must first progress through the main story to the part where you and Sigurd sail to England. As you build your first settlement, Raventhorpe, you will eventually find the area to construct the Stable and Aviary. In case you have trouble locating the Stables, press V to switch to your Raven and look for the horse icon.
The Stable and Aviary costs many resources to construct, but you should have just enough to do so after your first raid in England. There are better structures to build before the Stable, but if you want to change out your Mount and Raven skins, it’s an option. Interacting with the Stable and Aviary in Raventhorpe brings up a few options, including:
- Let me see your stock.
- I want to train my mount.
- What do you do here?
- Tell me about yourself.
You can train your mount at the Stable and Aviary using Rowan. Training your mount unlocks new abilities and improves your overall riding experience.
Browse Rowan’s stock to see what other mount options are available. That’s where you can get your Wolf if you have the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Ultimate Edition. The mount options you probably already own is the default horse, Hati (the Wolf), and the Tribal Stallion (through Ubisoft Connect).
There are also a few Raven skins in the Aviary tab, including the Default Raven, Muninn (Crow), and White Senu. You can purchase Blue Shades Raven skin for 500 Silver, as well. There are also microtransactions in AC Valhalla, including the Draugr Pack, which includes additional skins.
You may also encounter stables out in your adventures while raiding other towns and visiting new locations. Go to any Stables you find and follow this process to swap your mounts in and out. After doing that, summon your mount and test out your new ride!
