How to Change Camera Angle in NBA 2K23

Your perception alters your reality, even in NBA 2K23

The camera angle you use in any game can dramatically shape your experience, especially in NBA 2K23. If you’re in a more player-focused game mode, then you might lean towards the classic Player Lock or 2K View. Although, if you’d rather view things like a real-life NBA game, you might feel more inclined to use the Broadcast or Nosebleeds angle. Regardless, you’ll want to know how to edit this feature at some point.

How to Change Camera Angle in NBA 2K23

Since every camera angle affects what you’re able to see on the court, each angle can impact your game in different ways. Some will open things up so that you can see the entire floor but not too much to the point where everything becomes blurred. While others will take you a lot closer to the action, allowing you to solely focus on a particular player at a time.

The good news is that NBA 2K23 has made the process to change camera angles incredibly easy. All you need to do is;

  1. Press pause to bring up the Pause Menu.
  2. Scroll through the available options until you find the “Camera” tab and click on it.
  3. From here, you can choose one of a variety of different camera angles.

In NBA 2K23, players will get to choose between various camera angles, including Rail, Side, Skybox, Swivel, traditional 2K View, Broadcast, High, and even On-Court views. Plus, you can adjust the settings of each angle even further by altering the height, zoom, and flip features for each camera angle.

Once you’ve decided on a camera angle, you can simply hit “Yes” to save your selection. Then, just follow the steps above if you ever need to change it again. Most players find it useful to stick with the 2K or High camera angles, as both will allow you to see the entire court, including which players are open and where the opposing players are.
