When looking for a Saw Shark, the first thing you want to do is make sure you’re fishing during the proper months and time of day. For the best odds, make sure you’re fishing at Sea around 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. during the month of June.

Look out for the largest shadow type, and you will know it’s a shark by the fin sticking out of the water. There are four other types of fish that have the same size shadow and spawn during the same time of day. Other fish you will likely catch during this time are the Great White Shark, Hammerhead Shark, Suckerfish, and Whale Shark.

Chances are you will catch a whole bunch of other fish before getting your hands on the Saw Shark. Fishbait can help you out in this process, but it’s not a requirement. Check out our full list of ACNH fish locations and prices for other fish to catch in June.
