The month of June has arrived, and that means there are some new fish and bugs to try and catch. It’s also Wedding Season this month, so be sure to check that out. One new bug for June is the Mosquito, and it doesn’t sell for a whole lot but it’s one you may need for your collection. In this guide, we will show you how to catch a Mosquito in Animal Crossing New Horizons.

Mosquitos are tiny and easy to miss unless you are specifically looking for them. If you are trying to catch one, make sure to keep your eyes peeled! They behave like real mosquitos and can be found flying around your character trying to bite you.
You can find mosquitos spawning during the months of June through September, any time after 5 p.m. until the early morning at 4 a.m. Once you can spot one, they are easy to catch. Learning how to see them is probably the hardest part about catching these little buggers.
It doesn’t make any special noise when it’s near you to my knowledge. When you see one, whip out the net and swing at it when it’s in range. That’s all you need to know to catch a mosquito in ACNH. Other new bugs for June include the Firefly, Drone Beetles, Rainbow Stag, Goliath Beetle, and Emperor Butterfly.
