How to Build Snowfolk in Animal Crossing New Horizons

How to Build Snowfolk in Animal Crossing New Horizons

I was absolutely abysmal at making snow constructs as a child. I couldn’t roll a snowball to save my life, and even with a brick mold, I couldn’t construct a halfway-decent igloo. I guess that’s just another appeal of Animal Crossing: New Horizons: being able to make whimsical snow art without all the fuss. Here’s how to build snowfolk in Animal Crossing: New Horizons.

Frosty the Snowboy~

Since winter came to your island, you’ve likely started noticing small snowballs laying around on the ground. If you walk up to them, you’ll automatically give it a little kick, causing it to roll up snow and get a little bigger. Kick it enough times, and you can start rolling it around. If you can get two balls big enough and stack them on top of each other, you can create your very own winter snowboy. Your snowboy will then congratulate you on giving it life, and you can visit him for the next four days until he melts.

However, if you want to get the most out of the cold season, you should strive for snowboy perfection. A perfect snowboy has a perfectly proportioned body and head, and if you can craft one, they’ll reward you with special winter furniture recipes, as well as rare large snowflakes if you visit them.

To create a perfect snowboy, find the two snowballs on your island and kick/roll them to a wide open space. If you happen to break one of them, just go in and out of a building to make them respawn. With your snowballs in place, roll one of them around until it’s about as high as the tops of your character’s eyes. Leave this one where you want the snowboy to end up.

For the second ball, roll it until it’s about as high as the tops of your character’s ears. Roll the second ball on top of the first ball, and voila, a perfect snowboy. He should immediately inform you of his perfection upon completion and give you your reward. If he doesn’t you may have gotten the measurement wrong. If you close the game and reopen it, you can try again, but if the game saves, you’ll need to wait until your snowboy melts before you can make another.
